Olamic Cutlery is a family-run business based in Mountain View, California. Its founder, Eugene Solomonik, started the company in 2010 with the goal of offering usable, custom, handmade knives at a fair price. Growing up in Russia, he learned the value of a good knife when he spent summers fishing, camping, and surviving in the arctic conditions of Russia’s Northwestern region, Karelia. In fact, the Birch trees used in our handles are the same Birch trees he camped under years ago.
